Altaire's Quality Assurance Plan Altaire has developed a corporate level Quality Assurance Plan that provides quality assurance guidance to our managers and other Altaire partners. This plan established the Altaire Project Quality Management policy and procedures towards achieving the highest quality project services and products. Altaire derived its QA policies and procedures from the well established and recognized ISO 9001 practices towards effective QA processes. The plan promotes the use of disciplined and repeatable processes using metrics and tools to ensure that quality is built in and achieved. Altaire developed this type of plan as a result of its Quality Management System (QMS). Altaire's QMS includes a Quality Manual and Quality Procedures. Altaire conducts periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with the policy and objectives. One of the major quality assurance process improvement steps taken by Altaire was the creation of its Quality Performance Survey (QPS). The QPS is used to ensure that Altaire clients are receiving the quality of technical and management services promised in our proposals. The client, at every major milestone and/or major deliverable, fills out the QPS Form. In all cases the QPS must be completed at least once a year for every contract or task order and at the completion of a contract or task order. The completed form goes directly to the Altaire Quality Assurance Director for review and a follow up meeting with the client. The Quality Assurance Director then determines if any further action is required. This document also serves as input in the reviewing of the work of the responsible Program Manager (PM).
